BACK TO MINISTRIES

Calvary greatly values supporting the work of missions — both evangelism and relief, local and global.
The people and ministries that we support are listed below, and you can find out more about them by clicking on their mission organization’s name.

We encourage Calvary family members to participate in short term missions projects as God directs. There have been missions and learning trip groups that have travelled to India, Africa, South East Asia, Turkey, Ukraine, and Mexico in the past.

The missions committee is a group of Calvary family members who are committed to praying for our missionaries and finding ways to inspire Calvary about local and global missions. If you are interested in joining, please speak with one of the pastors or elders for more information.

Our church family supports our individual missionaries and missions organizations through a combination of the following actions based on the needs of the missions partner:

Committing to praying regularly for the needs, endurance, encouragement and spiritual growth of the Missions Partner;
Collaborating with the Missions Partner to enable the congregation to participate in outreach events (if local) and/or facilitate learning trips (if global) to better get to know their unique missions environment and the people they serve, as far as this is practical;
Providing opportunities for the Missions Partner to present and share about their ministry work;
Providing financial support
